There really is something for everybody here at Ae Forest and it's fast becoming known as the best Mountain Biking Centre in the UK. Ae Bike Shop is a Shimano Service Centre and a Specialized Test Centre. The shop stocks a great range of mountain bikes & equipment from Specialized and other top brands for you to choose from. You now have the chance to "try before you buy" by taking out a bike of your choice from our Specialized Demo fleet.

The workshop at Ae Bike Shop is staffed by a Cytech qualified mechanic who can carry out anything from an emergency repair to a full service on your bike.

Ae Bike Hire has a great range of hire bikes to suit whatever trails your riding at Ae, from full suspension and hardtail XC bikes to kids bikes, child carriers & tag a longs. You can also try our new Specialized Big Hit downhill bikes if your heading for the Ae Downhill Course. Just give us a call on 01387 860 541 or use our Contact Form if you want to make a booking. You even get a free tea or coffee from our cafe if you book a hire bike for a full day!

At Ae Forest you'll receive a warm welcome and a delicious choice of food and drink in the Ae Cafe. Ae cafe is already famed for our amazing cakes and freshly ground coffee and now we've raised the bar once again as you can finish off a hard ride with a cold beer!! You can also choose from a selection of quality wines should you wish to sit down and have a meal at the end of your day.

If you travel with a laptop you can now get free wireless internet connection inside Ae Cafe. Check your e mails whilst your enjoying a cup of freshly ground coffee!

Got yourself totally soaked and caked in mud whilst blasting the trails? Not a problem, after hosing your bike down with our Bike Wash facilities you can clean yourself up in new spacious, tiled showers inside the 7 Stanes centre at Ae. Tokens are available from the bike shop and cafe.

Ae Forest is going from strength to strength. Trail expansion and development combined with the great facilities now on offer in the visitor centre make the 7 Stanes centre at Ae Forest a real destination for 2009! Night riding is on every Wednesday, check the Ae Bike Shop Forum for details.

Uplift Scotland is operating at Ae again! That means those Downhill Riders amongst you can now get transported time and time again to the top of the Downhill Course and the Shredder here at Ae Forest. Book through the Uplift Scotland website.
